In 2008 the Nike Foundation put resources behind actually helping make the world a better place. The idea was simple: Start with girls in underdeveloped countries. Give them education, clean water, a chance, and you will effect more than just one girl. You create a ripple effect that help their families, their villages, their countries and the world.
